Welsh Cup - Last 16
The New Saints 2-0 Carmarthen Town: The New Saints booked a home quarter-final tie against Airbus UK Broughton with a convincing 2-0 win over Carmarthen Town at Park Hall. Mike Wilde swept the ball in from six yards to give the home side the lead in first half stoppage time after Carmarthen had failed to clear Chris Seargeant's free-kick. Man of the match Ryan Fraughan added a second for the hosts on the hour.
Holywell P-P Newtown
Porthmadog 3-2 Monmouth Town: Porthmadog came back from 2-0 down to book their place in the last eight with victory over Monmouth at the Traeth. Jack Allardyce's brace had put the visitors ahead within the opening 25 minutes. Carl Owen pulled a goal back for before John Owen levelled with 20 minutes and Craig Papirnyk's extra-time winner means Porthmadog will be away to Newtown or Holywell Town in the next round.
