Bayern Munich made it 47 Bundesliga matches unbeaten as they saw off Hannover to go 19 points clear at the top of the league.
A bullet Thomas Muller header from Rafinha's right-wing cross put the visitors ahead after a low-key start.
Thiago Alcantara controlled a fantastic lofted Bastian Schweinsteiger ball before lashing in Bayern's second.
Muller slotted his second from inside the box before Mario Mandzukic headed home another Rafinha cross.
Hannover had started the better against a Bayern side who had won well at Arsenal in the first leg of their Champions league last-16 tie on Wednesday.
But the visitors responded with a clinical efficiency in front of goal to complete a 20th win in 22 matches and, in the process, pass 60 goals for the season.
Earlier on, struggling Eintracht Frankfurt and 10-man Werder Bremen, who had Felix Kroos sent off after 34 minutes, drew 0-0.
Both have 22 points and are three clear of Hamburg, who are 16th and in the relegation play-off spot.
