Barnet right-back Andy Yiadom has been fined £1,000 by the FA after admitting misconduct in relation to betting.
The 22-year-old was also warned about his future conduct at Wednesday's Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, regarding FA Rule E8(b).
The fine is subject to any appeal.
A club statement said: "Andy is an honest and hard-working professional who will learn from his mistake. We fully understand the FA's decision and will continue to support Andy."
Yiadom moved to Barnet from Braintree Town in 2012 and has made 78 appearances for the club.
