Weston-super-Mare have reinstated Craig Laird as manager - a day after relieving him of his duties.
On Tuesday, a statement from the club's board said Laird had been dismissed because he stalled on signing a new deal and asked for an extra £42,000 in his budget.
But Weston have now confirmed Laird has committed to a new two-year deal.
More information on the decision will be revealed at a fans' forum on Sunday, according to the club's website.
Laird was appointed in the 2010-11 season having previously managed Bridgwater.
The Seagulls finished in their highest-ever league position last term - seventh in the Conference South - and currently occupy the final play-off place in the league by one point.
