Raith Rovers moved above Alloa Athletic in the Scottish Championship table by beating the Wasps at Recreation Park.
The hosts had a number of chances in the opening period but they could not find a route past Raith goalkeeper Lee Robinson.
Callum Booth's 25-yard free-kick gave the visitors the lead four minutes in the second half.
And one goal proved to be enough with Edward Ferns and Ben Gordon passing up chances for Alloa.
