Rowan Vine met David Robertson's cross to head beyond keeper Jamie Ewings.
Morton doubled their advantage seven minutes before the interval when Barrie McKay's delivery was nodded into the bottom corner by Thomas O'Ware.
And Kenny Shiels' side wrapped up a fourth win of the season when McKay was ran 35 yards before slotting home.
