Conference Premier side Chester have signed three players ahead of the loan deadline, including former Stoke City and Newcastle defender Andy Griffin.
The 35-year-old full-back was a free agent after leaving Doncaster.
Blackpool winger James Caton has joined the Blues on loan for the remainder of the season, as has centre-back Luke Ashworth from relegated Hyde.
Steve Burr's side are five points clear of the relegation zone with six league matches still to play.
"I'm delighted to have got all three lads in today, as we needed the squad strengthening for what is the most important part of the season," Burr told the club website.
"To have someone with Andy's experience coming in to the club is just what we need and the arrivals of James and Luke will help us in our games to come."
