After a scoreless first half, Ryan Strachan's lob put the hosts ahead just before the hour mark.
Rory McAlister bagged Peterhead's second before Richard McIntosh scored an own goal.
And McAlister's second added some gloss to the scoreline as the Blue Toon maintained their eight-point lead.
