Ten-man Raith Rovers were brought back down to earth after their Ramsdens Cup win as they lost at home to Dumbarton.
The visitors opened the scoring when Garry Fleming's flick from Jordan Kirkpatrick's free-kick found Mark Gilhaney, who drilled the ball into the far corner.
Mitchel Megginson added a second before Colin Nish made it three.
Gordon Smith's curling effort offered Raith some hope up until Douglas Hill's red card 14 minutes from time.
