The visitors threatened through David Weatherston, Chris Smith and Jordan White before going ahead.
White controlled a long ball from Phillip Johnston and tucked away neatly before Weatherston made it two before half-time with a tidy finish.
Ryan Donnelly's shot wide in the second half was as close as Rovers got to scoring.
