Sheffield United kept alive their slim League One play-off hopes with a narrow victory over bottom side Stevenage.
The Blades, in their first game since their 5-3 FA Cup semi final defeat by Hull City, took the lead early on when Jamie Murphy's low cross was turned into his own net by John Mousinho.
Boro came close when Luke Freeman's effort was well saved, before Luke Jones' header was cleared off the line.
Freeman again had a chance to level late on, but fired at Mark Howard.
But United held on for a victory which leaves them eight points of sixth-placed Peterborough with a game in hand.
Graham Westley's Boro, meanwhile, remain rooted to the foot of the table and are seven points off safety with just three games left to play.
