A stunning strike from Valentin Gjokaj earned Barnet their first win in four matches away at Nuneaton.
The visitors had chances to go ahead through Iffy Allen and Harry Crawford, but were denied in quick succession by Nuneaton goalkeeper James Belshaw.
With 13 minutes to go, Albanian defender Gjokaj found the top corner from 25 yards out to condemn Nuneaton to their third-successive defeat.
Barnet now sit in eight place, five points off the play-offs.
