The 26-year, who had previously scored six goals in five years, set them on their way just at half-time with a header from six yards out.
Kane Hemmings then got his first in six games before finding the top corner for his second of the afternoon.
Armstrong completed the rout when he headed home Greg Stewart's delivery to make it four without victory for Livi.
