Everton 2-0 Manchester United

First-half goals from Leighton Baines and Kevin Mirallas kept alive Everton's hopes of a top-four finish as Manchester United boss David Moyes was beaten on his return to Goodison Park.

Baines scored from the penalty spot after defender Phil Jones blocked Romelu Lukaku's shot with his hand.

Mirallas made it 2-0 by firing past keeper David De Gea after being played in by Seamus Coleman.

The result sees Everton return to within one point of Arsenal in fourth.
