Albion Rovers 1-0 Queen's Park

Scott Chaplain's penalty was enough to give Albion Rovers victory over bottom side Queen's Park in League Two.

Michael Keenan twice went close for the visitors, blazing over from the edge of the area then sending a half-volley just wide.

But, when James Marr fouled Joshua Flood, Chaplain stepped up to confidently fire Albion ahead for his 10th goal of the season.

Shaun Rooney and Anthony Quinn both spurning decent chances to equalise.

However, Rovers ended their three-game losing streak to move above East Stirlingshire on goal difference and finish seventh in the Scottish League Two table.

For the Spiders, it brings to a close a disappointing season in which the amateurs finish 12 points adrift.
