Defender Dan Jones has signed a new deal with Hartlepool United, although the terms are undisclosed.
Jones joins Josh Rowbotham, 20, in extending his stay with Pools after Colin Cooper's side retained their League Two status last season.
The 19-year-old, who can play at either centre-back or full-back, made his debut as a substitute in the 4-2 defeat by Mansfield in March.
"I wasn't sure if I was going to get a contract," Jones told the club website.
"Now I have I can go out there and really enjoy my football."
