Celtic: Front-man Pukki eyes fresh start under boss Deila
Striker Teemu Pukki is relishing the chance to relaunch his Celtic career under attack-minded boss Ronny Deila.
The Finnish forward netted just seven goals last season after moving to Scotland from German side Schalke.
But he is hopeful recently-appointed Celtic boss Deila, who has a reputation for playing attacking football, can help him finally find his feet.
"It's a big thing that the manager wants to play attacking football," Pukki told the club's website.
"As a striker you always hope for a manager like that."
Pukki will return to his home-land later this summer after Celtic confirmed they will take on Tottenham in a friendly in Helsinki as part of their pre-season campaign.
And the 24-year-old is thrilled that he will get a summer of work under his belt, after missing out on Celtic's warm-up games last summer following his late switch to the club.
"Getting the chance to play in a pre-season is a great incentive for me, and should make things a little easier for me this year," he added.
"I felt good towards the end of the season and was scoring goals and getting more confidence in my play.
"The first year with Celtic has been one of adapting for me. A lot has been different for me over the last year but the end of the season was good and I found it easier to play."
