Ashley Chambers: Dagenham & Redbridge sign Cambridge winger

League Two side Dagenham & Redbridge have signed Cambridge United winger Ashley Chambers on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old, who made six appearances during a loan spell with the Daggers last season, has agreed a two-year deal.
Chambers joined the U's from York City in January and scored once in 10 league games as Cambridge won promotion from Conference Premier via the play-offs.
He scored 21 goals in 133 games during his three years at York.
"Really enjoyed my loan spell so a no brainer to sign permanently," Chambers tweeted. "Excited to get going!"
