Barcelona have reached an agreement to sign Chile captain Claudio Bravo from Real Sociedad on a four-year deal.
Bravo, 31, will become the club's second goalkeeping recruit of the summer after Marc-Andre ter Stegen's arrival from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The pair will compete for the number one jersey at the Nou Camp following the departure of Victor Valdes.
In a statement, Barca said Bravo is noted for his "calmness between the posts, leadership skills and agility".
Bravo, who began his career at Colo-Colo, leaves Sociedad after eight years and more than 200 league appearances.
Chile will meet hosts Brazil in the last 16 of the World Cup on Saturday after finishing second in Group B behind the Netherlands.
