Notts County Ladies have signed Republic of Ireland international striker Fiona O'Sullivan from German side SC Freiburg.
The 27-year-old replaces England Under-23 striker Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, who left the club by mutual consent.
O'Sullivan scored a hat-trick in her final appearance in the Frauen Bundesliga earlier this month as Freiburg beat BV Cloppenburg 7-2.
She arrives at Meadow Lane with her new team third in the league table.
"Fiona has shown what she can do on both a domestic and international. She gives us great strength in our squad as we head into the second half of the season," Lady Magpies manager Rick Passmoor told the club website.
O'Sullivan started her career in the United States before moving to AIK in the Swedish top flight in 2010.
She then had a spell at ASJ Soyaux Charente in France before eventually joining Freiburg for the 2012-13 season.
O'Sullivan is the second new arrival during the mid-season WSL break, following the addition of Australia international defender Danielle Brogan.
