Scottish Women's Premier League champions Glasgow City have signed Australian goalkeeper Niki Deiter.
The 22-year-old joins after finishing four years on a football scholarship at Central Connecticut State University (CSSU) in the USA.
"I am certain she will enhance the squad," said City head coach Eddie Wolecki Black.
And Deiter said: "I'm looking forward to being part of such a competitive football club."
The former Australian youth international was captain of CSSU and also played in 2013 for New England Mutiny in the Women's Premier Soccer League, where she was named East Coast goalkeeper of the year.
City beat Hibernian 4-1 at the weekend to stay to of the SWPL as the league goes into a three week break.
And Black added: "It was always a gamble to go through the first half of the season with one experienced goalkeeper.
"If Lee (Alexander) had suffered an injury we would have been left with two youngsters in Autumn (Farrell) and Laura (Hamilton) competing for a first team jersey. Which would be very unfair on them both.
"It was imperative we identified a target who would compete for the number one jersey. I believe the signing of Niki does that."
