Origi right to choose Belgium, says Kenyan cousin

Divock Origi was right to choose to play for Belgium rather than Kenya, the country of his father, says his cousin Arnold, who is the Harambee Stars' goalkeeper.

Origi has made an impact for Belgium at the World Cup in Brazil, becoming the first teenager to score at the tournament since Argentina's Lionel Messi.

The 19-year-old opted not to follow in the footsteps of his father, who played for Kenya between 1989 and 2004.

Arnold told BBC Sport: "The shambles and lack of organisation of our football federation in Kenya means it is not enticing to play there if you were born in Europe."
