Nuneaton Town have made their third new signing of the summer by bringing in young midfielder Jack Dyer following his release by Burton Albion.

Dyer, 22, played 54 league games in four years for the Brewers after coming through the Aston Villa youth system.

He spent a month on loan with Kidderminster Harriers last season.

But Boro have lost last season's 17-goal top scorer Louis Moult, who has rejoined former Boro boss Kevin Wilkin by joining Conference rivals Wrexham.

Dyer, who has signed a two-year contract with Boro, follows the arrival in May of new full-backs Ben Starosta and Connor Franklin.

"There were several other Conference sides who were interested in signing Jack, so we are delighted to have him with us," said Boro boss Brian Reid, who released five players at the end of last season. "This is a great piece of business for the club."

The new Conference Premier season is scheduled to kick off on 9 August.

The fixtures are due to be released on Friday, 4 July.
