Cardiff City are lining up former South African international Quinton Fortune to join their coaching staff.
Fortune, is a former Manchester United team-mate of Bluebirds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He is set to play a role with City's development side following the departure of the squad's manager Kevin Cooper to Swiss outfit Servette.
The 37-year-old spent seven years at United between 1999 and 2006 winning three Premier League titles.
He also played for Majorca, Atletico Madrid, Bolton, Brescia and Doncaster Rovers and won 46 caps for South Africa.
