Charlton Athletic have signed former Bolton and Portsmouth defender Tal Ben Haim and Iceland international Johann Berg Gudmundsson.
Israel international Ben Haim, 32, spent last season at Belgian Pro League side Standard Liege, where he made 15 appearances in all competitions.
Midfielder Gudmundsson, 23, joins the Addicks on a free transfer from Dutch Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar.
He has agreed a two-year contract and Ben Haim has signed a one-year deal.
After coming through Maccabi Tel Aviv's youth academy, Ben Haim joined Bolton in 2004 and spent three years with Wanderers before moving to Chelsea.
He has also had spells with Manchester City, Sunderland, West Ham and QPR.
Ben Haim made a total of 181 league appearances during his time playing in England, most recently in the 2012-13 season when he played six games for QPR in the Premier League.
Gudmundsson spent time at the Fulham and Chelsea academies as a youngster, but began his senior career in his homeland with Breidablik.
He moved to AZ in 2009 and has scored 13 goals in 145 appearances during his spell in the Netherlands.
