Fifa steps in to help The Gambia Football Association
Fifa has decided to appoint a normalisation committee to help resolve problems faced by The Gambia Football Federation.
Five people will be identified to form the committee that will be in charge of organising an election for a new GFF board by 15 September.
The decision follows the two-year ban handed to The Gambia by the Confederation of African Football.
Caf punished The Gambia in April after it found five over-aged players had been used during a game against Liberia in the Caf U-20 Championship qualifiers.
