Alex Marrow leaves Blackburn Rovers and joins Carlisle United
Carlisle United have signed midfielder Alex Marrow on a one-year deal following his departure from Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
Rovers allowed the 24-year-old to leave this summer by mutual consent and he has been training with the Cumbrians for most of their pre-season so far.
Marrow helped Fleetwood to promotion from League Two during a loan spell from Blackburn last season.
He is the eighth player to sign for Graham Kavanagh's Carlisle this summer.
Marrow has also played for Crystal Palace and had additional loan spells at Oldham and Preston.
