St Johnstone captain Dave Mackay has succeeded in his bid to overturn his red card in

The defender was sent off by referee John Beaton for appearing to bring down winger Derk Boerrigter as he prepared to shoot at goal in the penalty box.

The Dutchman has since for "simulation" after Beaton gave a penalty, which Nir Biton scored.

Mackay is now free to face Aberdeen in Perth in the league on Saturday.
