Oxford United have signed former Brighton & Hove Albion striker Will Hoskins on a one-year deal.
The 28-year-old was a free agent after leaving the Seagulls in the summer.
The former Rotherham, Watford and Bristol Rovers man has not played since suffering knee ligament damage against Blackburn in February 2013.
"He has bags of experience, has scored goals throughout his career and he works ever so hard for the team," boss Michael Appleton told the U's website.
Oxford, who travel to West Brom in the second round of the League Cup on Tuesday, are currently bottom of League Two, having started the season with four successive defeats.
