Welling United 2-1 Braintree Town

Welling recovered from a goal down against Braintree and scored two second-half goals for their first win of the season at the eighth attempt.

Jordan Cox's superb lob from Simeon Akinola's header put Braintree ahead and keeper Nick Hamann preserved their lead by denying Oluwatobi Sho-Silva.

Chris Bush equalised three minutes after half-time with a fiercely-struck free-kick from the edge of the area.

And Harry Beautyman sealed the win when he scored from inside the area.
