Portsmouth ended a run of three straight league defeats with a win over 10-man Dagenham & Redbridge.
Patrick Agyemang set up James Dunne who fired in the opener from 18 yards.
Ashley Chambers hit the bar for the visitors before Andre Boucaud received a second yellow for a reckless tackle.
The hosts made the numerical advantage count and Jed Wallace converted a penalty to make it 2-0 before he teed up substitute Andy Barcham to seal the victory in stoppage time.
Portsmouth boss Andy Awford told BBC Radio Solent:
"Tonight was about getting the win and what manner that was in we weren't too fussed, it was about getting back on track and getting back to winning ways
"A couple of decisions have gone our way tonight. I don't think it's a sending off - if that's a booking then we're going to have players being yellow carded all over the place.
"We looked a major threat once the second went in, it could have been anything - four, five or six."
