Match ends, Norwich City 2, Birmingham City 2.
Cameron Jerome scored twice against his former club as Norwich staged a superb second-half comeback to earn a point against Birmingham at Carrow Road.
The visitors went ahead when Callum Reilly's shot deflected off Russell Martin, beating goalkeeper John Ruddy.
Demarai Gray then slotted past Ruddy to double Blues' lead before Martin crossed for Jerome to score his first.
Just three minutes later, Jerome levelled when he headed Nathan Redmond's delivery into the net.
The former Cardiff and Stoke striker, who now has five league goals for the season, ensured Norwich remain second in the Championship and unbeaten since their opening-day defeat by Wolves.
The visitors were lucky not to go behind after just five minutes when Lewis Grabban volleyed Martin's cross over the bar from close range.
But Birmingham soon broke the deadlock against the run of play through Reilly, and then had a penalty appeal turned down when Martin appeared to tug back Clayton Donaldson inside the box.
Norwich then found themselves 2-0 down at the break for the second weekend running after Gray's cool finish.
But two quick-fire Jerome goals got the hosts back on track, although they were to snatch a winner.
At the other end, Ruddy had to pull off an impressive save to keep out Donaldson's near-post header, before the last chance of the match fell to to the hosts in the dying minutes when Michael Turner nodded just over the bar.
Norwich manager Neil Adams: "Obviously I am pleased with the way the lads fought back but, at the same time, I am disappointed we didn't go on to win the game.
"I can't complain too much because we're now seven games unbeaten and are second from top in the league."
Birmingham manager Lee Clark: "Demarai Gray was suffering from stomach cramps at the start of the second half and wasn't able to cover Martin's run. We were trying to bring Brek Shea on but didn't have time.
"But there so many positives to take from this - we look a good team when we do things right. Today a mad five minutes cost us a win - but not many teams will come here and getting any sort of positive result."
