Plymouth bounced back from successive defeats to beat struggling Hartlepool.
Marvin Morgan gave the hosts the lead when he finished well following good work from Lee Cox and Reuben Reid.
Reid came close to doubling the lead from a Morgan cross before Jonathan Franks forced a fine save from Pilgrims goalkeeper Luke McCormick before the break.
Nathan Thomas raced on to a Dominic Blizzard through ball to secure the points in the 77th minute.
