Brechin City 2-4 Ayr United

A brace apiece for Scott McLaughlin and Craig Beattie earned Ayr United victory over 10-man Brechin at Glebe Park.

Alan Trouten shot Brechin ahead on 49 minutes, with McLaughlin levelling from the penalty spot soon after.

Jamie Masson curled in to give the hosts the lead again but Greg Cameron was then dismissed for two bookings.

Substitute Beattie restored parity, McLaughlin stroked home another penalty and Beattie grabbed his second with a low drive late on.
