Morecambe forward Paul Mullin has signed a new three-year contract with the Lancashire club until 2017.
The 19-year-old former Huddersfield and Liverpool player has scored three goals in eight appearances since joining the club on a short-term deal in August.
Morecambe manager Jim Bentley told the club website: "He's got unbelievable potential, is scoring goals already and has got great desire to work hard.
"He's hungry for success, hungry to improve and to score goals."
Morecambe are currently second in the League Two table, with 16 points from their first seven league games.
Bentley continued: "I think the Morecambe fans have already seen how good he is and they'll be thankful we've got him tied up because I'm sure over the coming months there'll be bigger clubs watching him."
