Napoli's indifferent start to the season continued as Rafael Benitez's team slipped to a 1-0 defeat at Udinese.
Brazilian defender Danilo scored in the 70th minute to condemn Napoli to their second defeat in three Serie A matches.
Benitez guided Napoli to third last season but his side were knocked out of the Champions League by Athletic Bilbao in the play-offs.
The result leaves Napoli 15th in the table, while Udinese move up to fourth.
Danilo scored the decisive goal when he slid in at the back post to send Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly's wayward header past goalkeeper Rafael Cabral.
Spanish striker Michu, on loan from Swansea, started alongside Gonzalo Higuain in attack for Napoli but neither have found the net in the league so far this season.
