Real Madrid's France defender Raphael Varane has agreed to extend his contract with the European champions by three years until June 2020.
The 21-year-old has made 75 appearances in all competitions since moving to the Bernabeu Stadium from Lens in 2011.
He played in the Champions League final as Real overcame Atletico Madrid 4-1 after extra time in May.
"Varane has one of the most promising futures ahead of any player in Europe," said a statement on Real's website.
The defender featured in all five of France's matches at this year's World Cup as they reached the quarter-finals in Brazil before losing to eventual winners Germany.
He has also helped Real win La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Super Cup during his first three years in Spain.
