Sheffield United moved to seventh in League One thanks to Jamie Murphy's dramatic winner against Gillingham.
The Blades dominated throughout, with defender Harrison McGahey having a shot cleared off the line and midfielder Stefan Scougall hitting the woodwork.
But they fell behind to Luke Norris's left-footed strike.
Michael Higdon levelled with a low six-yard strike before Murphy beat the onrushing Stephen Bywater to earn the points for the Blades.
Sheffield United boss Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"First half we didn't play with the same intensity that we did in the second half.
"If we'd played like that from the first minute, then we would have won the game comfortably."
"It's another win, well deserved and a very good performance to boot.
"The fact that we scored two late goals, shouldn't disguise the fact that we played very well today."
