Lincoln picked up their first win in four games after easing to victory over Macclesfield Town.
The home side quickly took the lead when a left-footed Tom Miller effort found the bottom corner from 12 yards.
Ben Tomlinson doubled the lead soon afterwards when he slotted past Rhys Taylor from six yards to put Lincoln 2-0 ahead inside 19 minutes.
Lincoln were reduced to 10 men when Jordan Burrow was sent off for serious foul play, but the Imps held on to win.
