Forfar Athletic 3-1 Brechin City

Forfar Athletic moved top of Scottish League One with a win at home to Brechin City.

The hosts went ahead when Danny Denholm smashed a shot into the roof of the net following Omar Kader's initial effort.

Dale Hilson doubled Forfar's advantage when he tapped in Kader's cutback but Colin Hamilton finished off a lovely sweeping move to give Brechin hope.

City's Andrew Jackson headed over before Hilson won and converted a late penalty.
