Scottish Cup: Hurlford United progress to third round

League Two sides entered the Scottish Cup at the second round stage

Scottish Junior Cup holders Hurlford United beat Highland League side Inverurie Loco Works 3-0 to progress to the third round of the Scottish Cup.

Turriff United, another Highland League side, lost by the same score to League Two basement side Clyde at The Haughs.

League Two promotion rivals Arbroath and Montrose drew 2-2 at Gayfield Park, while Darren Miller's last-minute goal for Queen's Park put them through against Gretna 2008.

Berwick beat Formartine United 2-0.

Stirling University host Albion Rovers on Sunday at Forthbank Stadium.

The replays between Arbroath and Montrose, Elgin and Forres Mechanics, who drew 0-0, and Spartans FC and East Kilbride, who shared six goals, are scheduled for Saturday 11 October.
