Barnsley 3-1 Bradford City

Kane Hemmings
Hemmings, who joined Barnsley from Cowdenbeath, was named Scottish Championship player of the year in April

Kane Hemmings scored his first league goal for Barnsley as they fought back to beat Bradford City at Oakwell.

Jason Kennedy put the Bantams ahead inside a minute, slotting past home keeper Ross Turnbull after Mark Yeates slipped the ball into the box.

Rory McArdle, under pressure from Lewin Nyatanga, headed Conor Hourihane's free-kick into his own net to level.

Sam Winnall, who earlier hit the bar, then turned in Nyatanga's pass, with sub Hemmings stroking the third home.

Victory is Barnsley's first at home in the league since 23 August and it is the first time the Tykes have earned back-to-back wins since being relegated from the Championship last season.
