Middlesbrough head coach Aitor Karanka has praised wingers Adam Reach and Albert Adomah for their roles in Saturday's 2-0 victory against Fulham.
Boro moved within a point of joint-leaders Norwich, Nottingham Forest and Watford after the win, which extended their unbeaten run to six games.
Reach, 21, and Adomah, 26, scored second-half goals to secure the points.
"They had very good intensity and good mood, they are important for us," Karanka told BBC Tees.
"Both can play in different positions, both of them are playing really well - we missed Albert last Tuesday (in the draw with Blackpool).
"Now they can recover because they've played a lot of games."
The Teessiders, who have picked up 14 of a possible 18 points during the unbeaten run, go into the international break in fifth place in the Championship table, with 20 points.
