Trinity FC boss Jimmy Reilly has been named as the new manager of Jersey.
The former striker takes on the job ahead of next summer's Island Games, which will be staged in the island.
He fills the position which has been vacant since after a row with the Jersey FA over squad selection.
"I am under no illusions as to the size of the task," said Reilly. "With the right players and attitude; I believe we can make good progress."
He added: "Obviously, the Island Games next year will be a key focus for us, and having been part of the winning team in the 1997 Games, also held in Jersey, I know what a great tournament it will be."
