Southend United 1-1 Exeter City
Graham Cummins' second-half goal gave Exeter a deserved draw at Southend.
The striker latched onto Liam Sercombe's pass and slotted into the net with just over ten minutes left.
David Worrall's first goal for the Shrimpers had put the hosts in front just after the half hour as he headed in Will Atkinson's pinpoint deep cross.
Lee Barnard also hit the post and Jack Payne had two efforts cleared off the line for Southend, while Jimmy Keohane struck the upright for the Grecians.
After failing to score in successive defeats to Morecambe and Luton, the clock had just ticked past 300 minutes without a league goal for Southend when former Bury man Worrall nodded in.
But Phil Brown's men, who have only scored 13 goals in as many League Two games this season, could not add to their tally despite creating a number of chances and were eventually made to pay when Cummins notched his fourth goal of the season.
The result means Southend are now without a league win in four games and they drop out of the play-off places, while Exeter remain in 17th.
