Wrexham winger Theo Bailey-Jones is likely to be out of action for up to four months after breaking a metatarsal.
Jones sustained the foot injury in training on Friday and now joins goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann on the long term injury list.
The 20-year-old has featured as a substitute in seven Conference games this season.
"I'm disappointed for the lad," Wrexham manager Kevin Wilkin said.
"It's a bit of a set back and a knock back to him. Theo's one of those players that adds a little bit to us.
"But he's a great lad with a great approach to the game so he'll let that settle down and get right first then worry about the rest of the season thereafter."
Bailey-Jones signed a one-year contract extension in May having originally joined on a six-month deal in June 2013 following a trial at the Racecourse.
The 20-year-old signed a further short term deal until the end of the season in January before spending a brief spell on loan at Colwyn Bay.
