Match ends, Sheffield Wednesday 0, Norwich City 0.
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Keiren Westwood pulled off a string of late saves to deny Norwich City victory.
The Owls have now gone seven games without a win, while Norwich have not won themselves in five matches.
After a scrappy first half, the Canaries pushed for a winner but were to be denied by Republic of Ireland keeper Westwood.
His highlights included tipping Nathan Redmond's shot around the post before parrying away Cameron Jerome's volley.
The point at home moved Wednesday up to 12th in the table, while Norwich drop to sixth and claim the last play-off spot in the Championship.
The two sides each spurned opportunities to break the deadlock in the first half.
Wednesday's French midfielder Jeremy Helan played in Claude Dielna, only for his precise cross to be headed wide by Stevie May from close range.
At the other end, former Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban - now without a goal in his last five games - shot straight at Westwood from Russell Martin's header.
Kieran Lee volleyed over Atdhe Nuhiu's knock-down as the hosts began to improve, and Nuhiu was in the action again when he cut in from the left and bundled past Steven Whittaker, only for keeper John Ruddy to gather his cut-back.
Norwich picked up the pace after the break, and Martin headed substitute Gary O'Neill's free-kick over the bar.
Gary Taylor-Fletcher almost made a goal-scoring debut from the bench, following his arrival at Wednesday on loan from Leicester, but he failed to convert from Dielna's long ball in.
Westwood came into his own in the final stages, making a good save from Jerome after another O'Neill free-kick and then denying Redmond.
The Owls keeper kept out another Jerome effort and O'Neill went on to head wide from close range.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Stuart Gray:
"It became the Keiren Westwood show - save after save after save he's ended up pulling off.
"They're a good side and they put the ball into dangerous areas.
"Keiren Westwood has shown what a top-quality keeper he is with a man-of-the-match performance."
Norwich manager Neil Adams:
"I thought we were too slow out the blocks - I was a bit disappointed with the level we started the game at.
"I thought the longer the game went on the better we got and certainly the second half was very good.
"Unfortunately we ran into a keeper who was in world-class form today - full credit to him."
