A first-minute cross from William Gibson was headed into the net by Sean Winter to open for the visitors.
Scottish League One leaders levelled just before half-time as Dale Hilson shot home from outside the box.
Hilson missed a couple of good chances in the second period, while Chris Aitken also went close for Stranraer.
