Conference side Aldershot Town have signed Colchester United striker Dan Holman on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year-old joined the U's this summer, after scoring 13 goals in 35 league appearances for Braintree Town last season.
He has only featured five times for the League One club this season and had a loan spell at Wrexham.
Holman, who made four appearances during his time in Wales, will be with the Shots until 22 November.
"Dan's got a proven goalscoring record at this level," Shots boss Andy Scott said.
"He works extremely hard and is desperate to play football. He wanted this opportunity.
"He knows there's no divine right to play but if he does well he will play games."
Holman is eligible to play for Aldershot in the FA Cup.
Meanwhile 17-year-old Shots midfielder Jay Welch has signed a professional deal with the Hampshire club.
