Match ends, Kidderminster Harriers 0, Aldershot Town 2.
Aldershot earned their first away win since mid-August by beating 10-man Kidderminster Harriers at Aggborough.
Harriers keeper Daniel Lewis produced a decent save to push Dan Holman's effort over the bar in a low-key first half.
But the balance tipped in the visitors' favour when Jared Hodgkiss was sent off for a foul on Andre McCollin, Brett Williams scoring the resulting penalty.
Chey Dunkley headed wide for Harriers before Mark Molesley made sure of victory with a superb curling effort.
Aldershot climbed up to 13th in the Conference table, five points and two places behind their opponents, whose manager Gary Whild revealed the full extent of their financial worries after the game.
Harriers manager Gary Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester:
"We can't afford the likes of Michael Gash so we need to look to get him out somewhere and get him fixed up. The script has changed a bit. That's where we are.
"It's frustrating. We're playing with the hand we've been dealt. You can only do the best you can with the lads you've got and the game changed on the penalty.
"We've worked hard for the 29 points we've got and it would be great if we can hang on to the shirt tails of the teams in the play-offs, which so far we've been managing to do.
"I worked out that we're only three points off where we last year. And, with everything that's gone on, that's a pretty good achievement."
Aldershot Town boss Andy Scott told BBC Surrey:
"We did the team talk on the bus because we got stuck in traffic and just let them get on with it. They know we're a decent side.
"The first half hour we were excellent and the front three were causing them all types of problems and defensively we looked really sound.
"It was a terrific team performance, especially after the exertions of Sunday and all the razzmatazz about that, so I was absolutely delighted to come here and do a job on them.
"We are on a decent run of performances and hopefully this will now carry us forward to where I think we are as a team."
